Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika’s administration is working towards providing and strengthening business environment.
This was affirmed by County CECM for trade Stephen Kuria.
He pointed out that the County Government is working closely with traders and entrepreneurs to strengthen the business environment and spur economic growth.
The CECM added that Governor Kihika is prioritizing policies that support small and medium-sized enterprises, improve infrastructure, and promote fair trade practices.
Kuria noted that the county is committed to empowering local entrepreneurs by creating opportunities that not only boost business but also generate employment.
He highlighted the Wezesha Biashara Fund—offered at low interest rates—as one of the initiatives designed to help traders expand their ventures.
He was speaking during the launch of Essy Nails and Spa, established at Nasher Market, which is among the enterprises benefitting from this supportive environment.
On his part, Deputy Director for Political Affairs, Hon. Francis Njoroge, called on traders to embrace unity and peaceful coexistence in the city’s trading spaces, stressing that stability among business people is vital to sustaining growth.
