Nakuru County Governor Susan Kihika has called on National Youth Service recruits to continue embracing patriotism.
Kihika pointed out that such a virtue is key in service delivery.
She spoke in Gilgil during the 87 pass out parade of the NYS recruits.
“Congratulations to the passing-out recruits! Embrace the values of patriotism and service instilled during NYS training. You are the future contributors to our nation’s progress,” she stated.
The county boss joined President William Ruto at the National Youth Service 87th Pass Out Parade, celebrating over 10,000 graduates!
Kihika added that Nakuru County takes pride in hosting NYS, an institution shaping recruits for the job market and providing practical vocational skills.
This, she said was crucial for national development projects.
“I’m particularly Impressed by the alignment with the Bottom UP Economic Transformation Agenda, focusing on Affordable Housing,” she stated.
