Kihika calls on Senator Tabitha Karanja to Keep politics impersonal

Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika has appealed to Senator Tabitha Karanja to keep politics impersonal.

Kihika who was speaking on Thursday evening during a one on one interview with MC Kogi Investor Channel reiterated that politics will come and go and should not in any way be personal.

The Governor who recently came back from maternity leave in USA after she was blessed with twin babies, also used the moment to tell off Senator Tabitha for involving innocent children in matters children.

The governor said she does not understand how she and Tabitha Karanja fell out for the senator to criticize her maternity leave abroad.

In February, the senator had called on the Senate to create a law barring government officials from seeking treatment abroad.

Kihika maintained that she has forgiven the Senator whom according to Kihika, is undergoing treatment in London.

She wished the Senator quick recovery.

“Keep politics impersonal and avoid involving innocent children,” she added.

She added that politics will come in 2027 and the people of Nakuru will decide based on development record.

According to Kihika, her administration is currently focusing on service delivery.
