Community Health Promoters under Kaloleni Health Unit have continued to play their role of ensuring clean environment within the estate.
On Friday November 8, 2024, famiusnakuru.co.ke met the group members as they went on with a cleanup exercise within Kaloleni B estate.
The team comprises Community Health Promoters(Level 1) from Kaloleni Estate, Kivumbini Ward in Nakuru East Sub County.
The members revealed that the Clean-up exercise is done in the estate on weekly basis to ensure high standard of sanitation.
The Unit is led by Community Health Extension Worker Ms Agnes Wakesho is committed towards the noble task.
Meanwhile, Chris Musu- a member of the Unit called on the County Government of Nakuru to fast-track the promise of ensuring Garbage Bins in every estate.
“As CHPs under this unit we are committed towards ensuring our environment is clean. We are only urging the county government to fast-track the delivery of garbage bins,” he stated.
He says, this will go a long way in ensuring that the estates are clean restoring the environment.
