Over 1000 Jua Kali Sector members in Nakuru West have a reason to smile following interventions by area MP Samwel Arama into the issues around their controversial parcel of land.
The MP has sought the services of surveyor who landed on the parcel of land to ascertain the real boundary.
The 21-acre parcel of land in London Ward adjacent to Gioto dump site, has had issues over ownership.
The Land was given to the pioneer Jua Kali members by the late retired President Daniel Moi.
However some individuals were in a mission to grab it, an issue that saw members seek the assistance of MP Arama and Governor Susan Kihika.
The leaders some weeks ago visited the land and assured the members that the land will be restored to them.
And true to their words, a surveyor has already visited and ascertained the boundaries.
In earlier interviews, MP Arama was categorical that the land will be used to construct garage for Jua Kali Sector members to decongest streets where they have been operating.
