Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya on Tuesday April 30, 2024 held meeting with Bukusu Council of Elders.
In a statement to Newsrooms, Natembeya revealed that the meeting focused on national development.
“Today I had the opportunity to meet with the Bukusu Council of Elders at my office, where we discussed the development of our great country,” stated Natembeya.
According to Natembeya, the discussion centred around improving the socio-economic welfare of the region.
He reiterated his commitment to working closely with elders from various communities under the umbrella of Unity in Diversity who have the privilege to call Trans Nzoia home.
“We will discuss and chart the way forward for fast-tracking development projects in the county,” stated Natembeya.
