
Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika has assured Mai Mahiu families hit by the Old Kijabe Dam tragedy of government’s support.

Speaking on Monday April 29, 2024 after visiting the area together with other leaders among them Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, Infrastructure Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen, Kiambu Governor Kimani Wa Matangi and area MP Jayne Kihara among others, Kihika revealed that already a desk has been set up towards the same.
She urged families affected to ensure they register so that it can ease the process of humanitarian aid.

The county boss once again assured that the county health department was committed to attending to the survivors of the tragedy in Naivasha.
