Former Nominated MCA Susan Njuguna’s mother Nancy Wairimu Njuguna was on Tuesday laid to rest at Egerton, Njoro Ward in Njoro Sub county.
The late was eulogized as a devoted christian who made huge contribution to the PCEA church.
Njoro MP Charity Kathambi who attended the funeral honoured her invaluable contribution to the Body of Christ.
“We honour her invaluable contributions to the Body of Christ and her investment in PCEA church. The seeds she has sown will grow into mighty trees of life and inspiration for many years to come,” stated MP Kathambi.
While wishing the family comfort in the cherished memories and the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time, Kathambi also urged christians to remember the family in prayers.
“Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit and the values she upheld will live on,” she stated.
The Legislator also used the moment to urge Njoro residents to continue embracing peace and cohesiveness adding that it was the only way to ensure development.
