Nakuru Senatorial Aspirant Dr Peter Mbae has termed the forthcoming Monday SabaSaba protests as third liberation’ led by GenZs.
In a statement on his Facebook page, Mbae stated that the first liberation was done by Mau Mau, the second liberation was birthed during SabaSaba in 1992.
Mbae who is also the Secretary Planning and Economic Affairs at DCP Party, appealed to Kenyans to embrace peace during the SabaSaba protests that are scheduled to take place in various Counties.
According to Mbae, without peace there can never be development in the country.
“As we mark SabaSaba, let’s all embrace peace. We need peace to be alive and run our daily lives,” he stated.
Mbae who has been vocal on matters governance in the country added that violence should be condemned in strongest terms possible.
According him, Kenyans should not turn violence against their fellow Kenyans during protests or spill more blood, but rather they should embrace peace and ensure no destruction of property.
