Former Kenya Civil Servants Union Secretary General Dr. Isaac Newton Kinity has faulted the Kenya Kwanza Government for failing to address corruption.
Kinity who spoke on Friday during joint interview with three online TV stations from Nakuru, revealed that corruption remains the major challenge facing Kenya.
The former Unionist who now resides in USA, believes Kenya can end corruption within two years under a bold and ethical leader.
According to him, within five years, Kenya can become financially stable enough to lend money to other nations.
“In only two years of an aggressive and dedicated leader, corruption in Kenya can be history,” he said.
Dr. Kinity who has been vocal in calling out corrupt leaders and advocating for good governance, also used the platform to laud Gen Zs for their courage to try and help end impunity in Kenya.
He cited Bangladesh, where Gen Zs successfully removed a failing regime.
Kinity called on Kenyan youths to take responsibility ahead of 2027 general elections.
“The young people should take responsibility of leadership. Let them not be intimidated by anyone or wait to be told who to elect,” he stated.
While pointing out that in June 2025, the Kenyan Genz had power in their hands, Dr. Kinity boldly revealed that the power slipped from their hands because they did not have a leader.
According to him, once they got into Parliament, they did not need anything else, but all that was required after taking over the Parliament was for their leader to speak out.
“Unfortunately, they did not have a leader,” he said.
He advised young people that there is no revolution in the world ever succeeded without a leader.
On matters land, he said Kenyan has had land issues but to end land problems and tribalism, corruption has to be ended first.
The fearless Kinity argues that no Kenyan associated with corruption should be spared.
He argues that inorder to end land problems then those involved in double allocation of title deeds should be arrested and prosecuted.
“To end land problems in Kenya all the present and all the former registras who ever signed more than one title deed for one farm or for one plot should be arrested and prosecuted. Those who committed the offense before they retired should be picked from their homes and prosecuted,” he says.
