County to waive medication fee for victims of Eveready Roundabout accident

The county government of Nakuru will waive all fees related to the treatment of  nine victims of Eveready Roundabout accident.

Governor Susan Kihika in a statement termed the accident untimely.

She added that the county government will offer moral support to the families.

The accident happened in the early hours of December 31, 2023.

“Following the untimely accident that happened at Eveready Roundabout in the early hours of 31st December 2023, the County Government of Nakuru will waive all fees related to the treatment of the nine victims currently receiving treatment at Nakuru County Teaching and Referral Hospital (NCTRH),” said Kihika.

The county government will also waive the fees for those who lost their lives and stand with their families at this difficult moment.

“Towards this, my office will provide some financial support to the families for the burial of the victims,” stated Kihika.

While sending her condolences to the families and friends of those who lost their lives, she also wished a quick recovery to those undergoing treatment.
