Barut and Parkview Comprehensive Schools in Nakuru West Sub County are the latest beneficiaries of modern kitchen facilities.
The modern facilities were donated by well wishers.
Rotarian Joab Okello and Engineer Dr.Frankline Manene of Engineers without Boarder inspected the installation of modern kitchen facilities at Barut and Parkview comprehensive schools.
According to the duo, this is an upgrade from the schools’ only 3 stone smokey kitchens.
“The new stoves are fuel efficient and cook faster reducing the cost and time used to prepare meals as well as saving the cooks from the poisonous smokes,” stated Okello.
The duo thanked Davis Sunrise Rotary club and Rotary Club of Nakuru for the donation that will go a long way in improving services at the school.
