Several schools within Bahati Constituency in Nakuru County are set to benefit from construction of Junior Secondary classrooms.
The classrooms are being constructed courtesy of NG-CDF kitty.
Among the recent beneficiaries is Menengai Hills Primary School.
A team from Bahati NG-CDF office alongside the Menengai Hills Primary School Board, handed over the site for two new JSS classrooms on Tuesday August 20, 2027.
According to Bahati MP Irene Njoki who is also the Patron, the scope of work entails replacing the condemned structures with modern facilities.
This, she says will ensure better learning environment for students.
“I’m committed to addressing the infrastructure needs in all our public schools,” she stated.
Baraka Primary School is also a beneficiary of the program.
According to the office of MP Njoki, the construction of two JSS classrooms at Baraka Primary School is progressing well and is almost complete.
Meanwhile, renovations for six classrooms at Muringa Primary School in Bahati Ward are progressing at full steam.
Built in 2006, these classrooms are receiving crucial upgrades.
Many other local primary schools also require additional classrooms and renovations.
MP Njoki reiterated her commitment towards enhancing infrastructure in all the schools.
