Nakuru’s Azimio iron Lady Asumpta Wangui has cleared air over a meeting she attended at Chambers Hotel in Nakuru Town.
Asumpta has clarified that has not in anyway defected to Rigathi Gachagua’s political party as claimed by some bloggers.
In a phone call interview with Famous Nakuru.co.ke, Asumpta revealed that the meeting at Chambers Hotel was not for a single party, but a meeting for leaders from all parties.
She added that the meeting aimed at the way forward towards 2027 in terms of alliance formation.
The Nakuru Azimio iron Lady told off bloggers for misreporting about the meeting.
She maintained that she is still in Jubilee under Azimio Coalition.
“Wachana na hao wenye wanaandika eti nimehamia chama ingine. The meeting was for several parties to chat on mechanisms of forming coalition towards 2027,” she stated.
