Nakuru Town West MP Samwel Arama has slammed a section of his opponents for trying to divide constituents.
Speaking during the official opening of the new NG-CDF offices at Githima, Kaptembwa Ward, the MP noted that Nakuru West has no room for political divisions.
He pointed out that Nakuru West being a cosmopolitan Constituency, needs mature politics of unity.
He called on residents to shun such leaders who want to cause divisions.
“We don’t want to divide our people on political lanes. Those trying to divide constituents should keep off,” he stated.
During the meeting, Arama hinted at defending the Nakuru West Parliamentary seat in 2027.
His sentiments, a clear indication that he will not contest Nyamira Gubernatorial seat as information had circulated earlier.
According to Arama, his development record is very clear adding that leaders who deliver should be given another term to complete projects.
The third term serving Lawmaker used the moment to also call on residents to rally behind Governor Susan Kihika.
It should be noted that the new 3-storey building will house the office of the MP, staff and several other Government Agencies.
