Immediate Lay Apostolate Coordinator Catholic Diocese of Nakuru Ronald Sanros Sunguti was on Tuesday February 11, 2025 laid to rest at his Maeni village, Kimilili in Bungoma County.
Sunguti passed on last Thursday in what postmortem revealed was due to heart attack.
He collapsed in shortly after arriving at his house in Rhonda Nakuru West and rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The burial ceremony at Maeni village attracted thousands of mourners depicting how the late had good relationship with everyone just as the office he served demanded of him.

The mass was led by Archbishop Maurice Muhatia Makumba of Archdiocese of Kisumu who is also the Chairman Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops, and Bishop Cleophas Oseso of Catholic Diocese of Nakuru.
