Nakuru Senatorial Aspirant 2027 Wakili Lawrence Karanja has appealed to Nakuru residents not to repeat mistakes they made in 2022.

Karanja who unsuccessfully contested for the seat in 2022, says Nakuru residents made great mistake by not electing him.

Speaking in Kihingo Ward, Njoro Constituency on Thursday during the burial of former Kihingo MCA George Kiere’s grandmother Milkah Wanjiku Kiere, the Lawyer told residents to open their eyes and see where to correct the mistakes made in 2022.

“We made mistakes in 2022, but we can correct them come 2027 and ensure that we elect the right people who understand their roles,” he stated.

While revealing that he is on the ballot come 2027, Karanja assured the locals that he is ready to serve them in Senate and bring about the right policies and laws.

According to him, the problems that were there during independence are the same ones that Kenyans are still struggling with more than 50 years down the line.

“We had three major problems in Kenya: Illiteracy, Poverty and diseases and the same problems are the ones we are still struggling with. Time is now that we have good policies through our Senate and National Assembly that can help address the challenges,” stated Karanja.

Meanwhile, the Senatorial Aspirant called on Nakuru residents to show up in large numbers and register as voters, and also verify their details in the ongoing exercise by IEBC.

He pointed out that this is the only way to bring about change in matters democracy and development.
