President William Samoei Ruto departed this morning for a one-day official visit to Kampala, Uganda, to attend the African Union Extraordinary Summit on the Post-Malabo Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme (CAADP).
He was seen off by Deputy President Kithure Kindiki and other senior government officials.
The summit will focus on adopting the Kampala Declaration, which aims to transform Africa’s agri-food systems and address hunger and poverty through agriculture-led development.
