Rongai Member of Parliament Paul Chebor is on Saturday July 26, 2025 set to host Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika and Nakuru Lawmakers.
A poster seen by famousnakuru.co.ke indicates that Governor Kihika will be the Chief Guest at Bus Launch event at Mercy Njeri Secondary School in Kiamunyi, Rongai Constituency.
MP Chebor has also invited Nakuru MPs for the event.
However, notably the Nakuru Senator Tabitha Karanja and Naivasha MP Jayne Kihara are missing on the poster.
It should be noted that MP Chebor has been in the past among the top critics of Governor Kihika’s administration.
However, political pundits argue that the Saturday meeting might be the beginning of a political shift where the governor might make the famous ‘political handshake’.
MP Chebor once served as MCA for Solai Constituency.
He made history by defeating Raymond Moi of KANU in the Rongai Parliamentary race in 2022 clinching the seat on UDA ticket.
