Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya on March 8, 2024 launched Gender Policy.
The policy one of its kind will help streamline issues of gender in the county.
Speaking during the launch, Natembeya who joined women of Trans Nzoia County in celebrating this year’s International Women’s Day, said his administration will continue to champion for gender equality.t
During the event, Natembeya also launched Ukombozi social empowerment program.
This is a program that will provide much needed support to youth and women through a cash transfer initiative.
“Proud to be part of a community that prioritizes the empowerment of women,” said Natembeya.
