Menengai East MCA Wilson Mwangi Wajeff has expressed satisfaction in the empowerment program that he initiated.
Speaking at his Ward during distribution of improved kienyeji poultry chicks to various groups among them PWDs, the MCA was categorical that he is the only one in Nakuru Town East Constituency who has such program.
He pointed out that in the budget he decided to set aside funds for empowerment program with focus on poultry farming.
A distribution of over 13,000 chicks have been made in the Ward with over 3000 beneficiaries.
MCA Wajeff who is also a farmer called on groups benefiting to make good use of the program that aims to empower them.
“We are distributing to registered groups so that they can be empowered. This is a program that you will not see anywhere in Nakuru Town East apart from this Ward of ours,” he stated.
He used the opportunity to also rally residents of Nakuru Town East to support his 2027 Parliamentary seat ambition.
It should be noted that Wajeff will be contesting the Nakuru Town East Parliamentary seat come 2027.
