Langalanga and Bondeni sub county hospitals have received a major boost after the county government of Nakuru supplied the facilities with power backup generators.
This will go a long way in ensuring no service interruptions caused by power outage.
The facilities received 60KVA backup generators valued at sh7.5 million each.
According to department of health, these generators are now on-site ready for installation to serve as the facilities with power backups, ensuring 24-hour services for the community.
The uninterrupted power supply gives the to facilities the capacity for storage of medicines to support critical and emergency care.
