Kivumbini Ward politician Marcel Mullah is eyeing the Nakuru County ODM Youth Leadership slot in the forthcoming delegates elections.
Mullah says this is the time for young people to take up their positions in the ODM party ahead of 2027 general polls.
The youthful politicians has expressed optimism that he is ready to battle it out with his opponents for the Youth Leadership.
He shared on social media indicating that he had already paid Kshs 2,500 as election fee adding that he is a certified member of ODM party.
It should be noted that Mullah has been vocal on matters ODM in Nakuru and youth inclusion in leadership in various sectors.
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party announced that countywide delegates elections will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025.
According to the National Elections Coordinating Committee (NECC), the exercise will take place at designated polling centers across the country.
In Nakuru County, it will take place in Gilgil at Gilgil Stadium.
The Committee, however, stated that four counties Migori, Nairobi, Homa Bay and Kisumu will not take part in the elections.
The committee said eligible delegates of the party branches, as published on the ODM Party website, can apply for any county office positions.
Aspirants are required to pay application fees through the party’s Paybill number 985900, with the account name being the position sought.
The fees set for aspirants are Sh1,000 for non-executive positions, Sh2,500 for women, youth, disability and special interest representatives, Sh5,000 for executive positions other than chairperson, and Sh10,000 for county chairperson positions.
