As a way of enhancing service delivery, Kuvumbini Ward MCA’s physical office will soon be operational.
The office was torched and vandalized early 2025 during protests due to the disappearance of fishermen Brian Odhiambo.
The Ward has been operating without a physical office for more than a year now.
However, it is good news to residents after area MCA Neto Sakwa revealed that the refurbished office will soon be operational.
Speaking on Wednesday April 29, 2026 during disbursement of bursary cheques for FY 2025/2026, MCA Sakwa assured that the office will be operational in one month time.
He revealed that he had to dig into his pocket to have the doors and windows of the office done.
This, he said was due to the fact that the County Government process was taking long.
But despite there being no physical office, MCA Sakwa ensured that service delivery was not affected in anyway.
