Full Gospel Churches of Kenya Rongai town church in Rongai Subcounty of Nakuru county, was full of joy on Sunday August 10, 2025 as Ms Margaret Mithanga shared with the church members her journey to graduation as a Sunday School teacher.
The Church members joined in celebrating the good news of a Sunday school teacher’s graduation.
The service that was presided over by Rev Moses Too highlighted Ms Margaret Mithanga’s dedication and the positive impact she will make on the Sunday school kids at the church.
The graduation of Ms Margaret Mithanga as Sunday School teacher signifies a milestone not only in her life, but also the life of the Church.
It also underscores the importance of Sunday school teachers in shaping young lives and fostering a love for faith.
In an interview with famousnakuru.co.ke at Full Gospel Churches of Kenya Rongai town church, Ms Margaret Mithanga revealed that her graduation was held on August 9, 2025.
She was categorical that Sunday School teachers need to get the right training.
According to Ms Margaret, her 3-year training entailed various aspects among them understanding kids and their behavior.
“The training was key and entailed several aspects. We have been taken through on how to take care of different types of kids and psychological component,” she stated.
Armed with certificate for now, she looks forward to advance her training from Certificate level to Diploma and further to Degree moving forward.
Rev Too lauded Ms Margaret Mithanga for the milestone made in her life.
He reiterated that Sunday school teachers need training to effectively impart biblical knowledge and values to children, fostering their spiritual growth and development.
According to the clergy, training equips teachers with the necessary knowledge, skills, and confidence to create engaging and impactful learning experiences.
It should be noted that Sunday school can be a powerful tool for evangelism, and trained teachers are better equipped to reach out to families and invite them to church.
