
There should be equitable sharing of resources both at National Government and counties.
Nakuru County 2027 Senatorial aspirant Dr. Peter Mbae says the laws are clear on revenue sharing and that no any leader should interfere with such.
Mbae who is the current point person of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s Wamunyoro movement in Nakuru, added that inclusivity should also be considered in any given government.
Speaking on Saturday March 8 during the Mulembe Festival Nakuru Edition, Dr. Mbae was categorical that every community should have a share on the National table.
According to him, Luhya community just like any other communities in Kenya have a right on the National table where resources are shared.
Mbae added that when elected Senator, he shall ensure resources from the National government are shared equitably to the counties.
He lauded Mulembe Nation leaders among them Eugene Wamalwa(DAP-K), Amb Ababu Namwamba and Godfrey Kanoti(Usawa Summit Party) for advocating for the unity of the community.
Mbae- an advocate and expert Peace and conflict resolution also used the moment to call on leaders to shun utterances that may trigger divisions in Nakuru.
