Col. (Rtd.) Raymond Cheruiyot is the new President Rotary Club of Nakuru.
This follows his recent installation as Rotary Club of Nakuru ushered in New Leadership for Rotary Year 2026–2027.
Rotarian Col. (Rtd.) Raymond Cheruiyot was installed in a ceremony held in one of the hotels within the city and attended by Rotarians, Rotaractors, Friends of Rotary, invited guests, and leaders from sister Rotary and Rotaract clubs.
He will lead a new board of the Rotary Club of Nakuru.

The ceremony was officiated by Past District Governor Eng. Peter Mbui.
During the event, Mr. Lee Njiru who delivered the keynote address, challenging Rotarians to continue providing ethical leadership and sustainable service to their communities.
Rotarian Col. (Rtd.) Raymond Cheruiyot in his acceptance remarks, thanked members for the confidence they had bestowed upon him and paid tribute to Immediate Past President Rtn. Ephantus Wachira for his exemplary leadership and stewardship during the previous Rotary year.
He reaffirmed the Club’s commitment to strengthening fellowship, growing membership, empowering young people, and implementing impactful community projects under the Rotary theme, “Create Lasting Impact.”
During the event, there was recognition of Rtn. Joab Okello and Rtn. James Yegon, who were each honoured with the prestigious Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) recognition in appreciation of their generous contributions and commitment to The Rotary Foundation during the past Rotary year.
The Club also warmly and officially welcomed Rtn. Loice Onyango, who recently transferred from the Rotary Club of Eldama Ravine.
The induction was led by Past District Governor Eng. Peter Mbui, together with members of the Rotary Club of Nakuru, marking the beginning of her Rotary journey with her new club.
The ceremony was also graced by Assistant Governor Rtn. Sarah Wangithi, Presidents and members from the Rotary Club of Naivasha, Rotary Club of Rehema–Nairobi, Rotary Club of Maasai Mara, E-Club of Rift Valley, as well as members of the Rotaract Club of Menengai and several other Rotary and Rotaract clubs, reflecting the strong spirit of Rotary fellowship and collaboration.
As the Rotary Club of Nakuru embarks on the 2026–2027 Rotary Year, members reaffirmed their commitment to Service Above Self and to creating lasting impact through meaningful partnerships and transformative community service.
