Africa International University to partner with NPS in mental health and psychological support

Africa International University will partner with National Police Service in mental health and psychological support.

This was revealed on Friday November 8, 2024 when the Vice Chancellor of Africa International University (AIU), Rev. Dr. Nelson Makanda paid a courtesy call on Inspector General Douglas Kanja at the NPS Headquarters, Jogoo House “A.”

Their discussion focused on partnership in Mental Health and Psychosocial Support for NPS Officers.

It should be noted that IG Kanja will Preside over the Mental Health and Wellbeing Conference on November 13, 2024, at the Africa International University in Nairobi.

The Vice-Chancellor was accompanied by the Chairperson of Disability Mainstreaming Foundation of Kenya, Dr. Dennis C. Junior, Prof. Eric Aseka, Mr. Makorre Wilson and Ms. Shalom Thayu.

Also present was Principal Assistant to the IG, Mr. Mathew Kutoh, AIG.
