A faith-based rehab coming up in Kiamaina Ward, MP Njoki vows support towards substance-free society

A faith-based rehabilitation centre is being set up in Menengai Sub location in Kiamaina Ward of Bahati Constituency.

The Rehab that is being constructed by PCEA Nakuru West-Shabaab Church, will help in addressing challenges facing young people among them drugs and substance abuse as well as alcohol consumption.

Bahati MP Irene Njoki who spoke on Sunday February 11, 2024 during a fundraiser towards completion of the project, lauded the noble initiative by the church.

As a mother, MP Njoki noted that this initiative will help shape youth in society.

“Grateful to have stood alongside fellow faithfuls at PCEA Nakuru West Suburb Church in Nakuru Town West as we support the completion of a vital rehabilitation center being constructed in Menengai sub location kiamaina ward,” she stated.

She vowed to support such initiatives as area MP towards a better society.

The event was also attended by Water Cabinet Secretary Zack Njeru, Governor Susan Kihika, and Shabaab Ward MCA Macharia Wathiai.

“As leaders we are committed to shaping a brighter, substance-free future for our community,” said MP Njoki.
