
President William Ruto has reiterated his commitment towards empowering youth through education.

Speaking on Thursday May 1, 2025 when he hosted PCEA Booth Girls’ High School students for Breakfast at Statehouse, the Head of State affirmed his commitment towards youth.
The engagement highlighted his commitment to empowering the youth through education, mentorship, and inclusive leadership.
“The future of our nation lies in the hands of our young people. By investing in their education, values, and leadership, we are securing a better, stronger Kenya for generations to come,” he stated.

During the Breakfast meeting, Ruto promised to pay school fees for over 200 students who were admitted at the newly build and opened PCEA Booth girls high school situated along Ngong road,Nairobi.
It should be noted that students from the school are drawn from needy families around all 12 constituencies in Nairobi county.
In addition, the President said he will build a high school and equip it in Mabatini area of Mathare slums.

According to him, he was touched during one of his tours in the area and was shocked that there was no good school in the area.
The breakfast meeting was also attended by Nairobi woman representative Esther Passaris, Dagoretti North MP Beatrice Elachi, Langata MP Felix Odiwuor and Mathare MP Anthony Oluoch.
