As the clock ticks towards 2027 general polls, Bahati Member of Parliament Irene Njoki is one leader who is banking on her clean development track record for her re-election.
The first time serving Lawmaker was elected in 2022 on Jubilee Party ticket beating the UDA wave that was sweeping across Nakuru County.

Since her election, MP Njoki seems to have clearly understood why the Bahati Constituents gave her the mandate to lead them.
She has focused on her transformative agenda for the people.

Infact, the locals admit and testify that the in a period of just three years of MP Njoki in office, the Constituency has witnessed tremendous development as compared to the past regimes.
MP Njoki believes that leadership is all about transformation of the livelihoods of the people.
“My focus remains on service delivery and there is nothing that gives hope when I see our people enjoy the transformation through various development projects,” she stated.
The Lawmaker though elected on Jubilee Party ticket in 2022, she has embraced working together with government of the day under the leadership of President William Ruto.
Through this, she has been able to lobby for various projects from the National Government for the people of Bahati Constituency.
Her focus on service delivery has seen her recognized by Mizani Africa.
Though she has not declared which party she will be contesting on come 2027, it is clear that MP Njoki commonly referred to as ‘Mrembo’ and under her Slogan ‘Mrembo Na Kazi’, will be defending her seat.
