Nakuru PWDs threaten to join protests on Thursday over Brian’s disappearance

Persons Living With Disability have vowed to mobilize their members in protest on Thursday should the DCI and KWS fail to produce or give satisfactory answers on the whereabouts of Brian Odhiambo.
Addressing press in Nakuru on Tuesday, the PWDs who were in company of Brian’s mother stated that it was wrong for government agencies to play around with the matter dealing justice for the family.
The lot led by Association of Persons Living With Disability Kenya Chairman Fredrick Owako, maintained that they will stand in solidarity with Brian’s mother who is also a PWD.
“We only have one message to the authority that let Brian be availed so that the family can have peace,” stated Owako.
Sentiments echoed by George Otieno who added that the only good thing thAt the family can be grateful is for the DCI and KWS to avail Brian.
Pastor Belly Otieno on his part slammed the agencies involved in the matter for derailing justice.
According to Belly, the issue of Brian should be of concern to all persons of goodwill in society.
He appealed to President William Ruto to step in and ensure justice for Brian who has been missing since January 18, 2025.
“We are going to hold protests in this town in solidarity with Brian’s family. Justice must prevail,” he stated.
He at the same time slammed government over the ongoing abductions in various parts of the country.
The clergy who is also a member of the PWDs in Nakuru, said such abductions should be condemned with strongest terms possible.
It should be noted that last week, Brian’s case that was filed by IMLU continued with DCIO Nakuru East and Lake Nakuru National Park In charge had their time in court.
The court is expected to give further directions in the matter this week on Thursday.
