Bahati MP has called on Energy and Petroleum Cabinet Secretary Opiyo Wandayi to intervene on Geothermal Development Company job opportunities at Menengai Crater.
The Lawmaker spoke on Friday September 19, 2025 during the commissioning of last mile connectivity program in Bahati.
She used the moment to lobby for jobs at Geothermal Development Company(GDC) at Menengai Crater.
According to her, the Company should give back to community through job opportunities to locals.
She urged the CS to intervene in the matter and ensure locals get jobs during the project implementation.
