Njoro MP Charity Kathambi has lauded Court for lifting caveats on land in Mau East.
Speaking in Nessuit Ward when she hosted a group of leaders and the community in celebrating the move, MP Kathambi stated that it marks a new beginning for the constituents as they can now continue with economic activities on their parcels of land.
“It is unacceptable for hardworking and law abiding citizens of Sururu, Mauche, Nessuit and Mariashoni in Njoro Sub-county to live in destitution in their own country even after having fulfilled all the legal requirements to prove ownership of the land,” said the MP.

Together with the leaders across the region , they committed to ensure justice and that locals can use their land without fear.
Meanwhile, Kathambi used the opportunity to rally leaders and constituents to shun divisive leaders and forge a united front for the benefit of electorates and country.
