Ms Anne Wairimu Gutu has continued to be an household name not only in Nakuru, but across Kenya owing to her charity work and initiatives.
Born in Rongai and raised in Mawanga, she schooled at St Joseph Primary and Lengenet Primary Schools before joining Rongai Girls High School.
Her humble background and the difficulties she went through among them lack of basic necessities such as sanitary pads is what drove her interest into charity work.

She has been doing charity work trying to help girl child in various Constituencies.
Through a phone interview with famousnakuru.co.ke, Ms Anne revealed that a total 1500 girls have benefited to in Kibera, 1350 girls in Kambui and 800 girls in Mathare.
In Kajiado, 600 girls and 250 teen mums have also benefited, while in Dagorreti 1830 girls have benefited from the sanitary pads distribution.

Ms Anne who is also a brand ambassador Raha premium and Dama mobile spares , is also involving herself in food donations to various vulnerable communities in society.
Widely recognized on social media as Mamake Boaz Gutu, she has made remarkable strides in her community through various initiatives, recently earning the prestigious title of Empowerment Icon 2025 in the Afri-Glo Choice Awards.
Her primary focus is on empowering girls, particularly through her impactful initiative known as “Rudisha Confidence.”
Recently, she was profoundly moved by a distressing video that circulated online, showcasing young children in Rombo, Kajiado County, enduring harsh weather conditions while desperately scrambling for the scant food available to them.

In an inspiring display of compassion and leadership, Mamake Boaz Gutu rallied her close friends and family, mobilizing a significant support drive within a mere two days.
