Wakili Ndumia Tournament for Nakuru Town East Constituency has been suspended.
This was revealed by Wakili Boniface Githinji Ndumia who is the sole sponsor of the Tournament.
In an official communication, Wakili Ndumia explained that owing to recent incidents where some individuals and moreso from opponents wanted to take advantage of the tournament to cause unrest, plan parallel tournament using the same teams, he decided to suspend the round of 16 best teams that would climax into finals on December 13, 2025.
Wakili Ndumia was categorical that as peace loving leader, he wouldn’t want youths to be messed up by a few individuals.
He added that the tournament would resume soon when the environment is very peaceful.
According to Ndumia, football should always be a source of peace, cohesion and energy for growth of youth.
“Fot the sake of unity, welfare of our players and the peace of our community, we are indefinitely suspending the tournament,” read the official statement.
