
Water Cabinet Secretary Zachariah Njeru has lauded Mazingira Network Nakuru East for their effort towards environment conservation.

Speaking on Saturday April 13, 2024 when he led a tree planting exercise at Bondeni Primary School in Nakuru East, the CS noted that Mazingira Network has continued to play key role through development of tree nurseries.
This, he said will go a long way in assisting the government agenda of planting 15 billion trees by 2032.
“We are very grateful for what the Mazingira Network is doing. This is in line with what the government is doing on achieving 100 percent forest cover and we shall continue to work with such initiatives,” he said.
The CS who is also an alumni of Bondeni Primary School, called on all leaders to support such initiatives and many more Government agenda.
A corner has been set up in the school and named Zack Njeru Forest.
Martin Mwathi(Chairman Mazingira Network) on his part called on government and elected leaders to support the Network towards environment conservation.
The event was also graced by MCAs Fadhili Msuri(Biashara Ward)and Neto Sakwa(Kivumbini Ward) among others.
