Nakuru Town East Parliamentary seat aspirant Wakili Boniface Githinji Ndumia over the weekend treated Team Wakili Ndumia Taekwondo Kids to early Christmas.
He cited one of the scriptures that always inspires him and his person- the Gospel of Mark 10: 14, “But Jesus said to them, Let the little Children come to Me; do not keep them away. The Kingdom of God belong to such as these.”
Wakili Ndumia noted that children symbolize the highest form of purity in humanity, free of hypocrisy, human biases, hate and all human vices adding that for such, Jesus decreed the Kingdom of God belonged to them.
Wakili Ndumia reiterated his passion and love for children adding that he will work hard to guarantee a better Today and a better tomorrow; in every sphere of their lives as a leader, a parent and, a human/children rights activist.
The Nakuru Town East Parliamentary seat aspirant spoke when he had a date with Team Wakili Ndumia Tae Kwondo Kids, their Managers, including one professional boxer Dana Hassan Dana Hassan.
They were hosted by First Lady Alice Rwamba Githinji whom Wakili Ndumia terms as his exact mirror on her love for the little ones, having served as a Sunday school teacher.
“It was a day we all let the inner children in us take over. And yes, it was a Christmas come early for this dear Children. And we did party and celebrate their victory in the Inter – Constituency Championship last month; and now readying for the National Championship in Busia starting this weekend – a trip that we will again sponsor and pray they bring the victory home,” he stated.
During the meeting, there was also some mentorship sessions with the young souls.
He inspired them to aspire beyond their present limitations by giving them a true account of his life journeys and how they coincided with theirs presently.
Later, Wakili Ndumia had another imprortant engagement with a very important Group to his heart – Persons With Disability; a Group he intend to work very closely with having been neglected by the current regimes for a very long time and at best given just lip services.
He added that this is a group he intend to take to Sarova Woodlands to have a full day engagement with them so that they can draft manifesto on their case with their direct involvement.
“On this, I chose to be guided. To hear and learn their challenges. Varied as they are. Including the Caregivers. So that we do not come up with an empty esoteric document which would mean nothing to them. It would be their document. And we will address their needs their way,” he said.
