Wakili Ndumia affirms commitment to liberate Nakuru Town East Constituency

Nakuru Town East Parliamentary seat aspirant Wakili Boniface Githinji Ndumia has affirmed his commitment to restoring sanity in politics of the cosmopolitan constituency.

Speaking when he toured New Canaan area that houses victims of 2007/2008 Post elections violence in Nakuru East Ward, Wakili Ndumia was categorical that for many years Nakuru Town East Constituency has had no proper leadership, but that of deception.

He affirmed that he has sleeves rolled ready to liberate Nakuru Town East Constituency from such.

While sharing his agenda with residents of the densely populated area, Wakili Ndumia urged them to back his bid in the journey to make Nakuru Town East Constituency better.

He called on residents to be wise come 2027 and make right decisions on the ballot.

“We are saying time is now to bring about change in this constituency by electing servant leaders who will listen to the people before raking any decisions,” he said.

During the visit, Wakili Ndumia highlighted some of the initiatives that he has commenced to help various groups among them the PWDs, single mothers and youths.

According to him, these are programs that are at his heart, adding that he will continue with that as a way of empowering households.

“We have already started some programs towards empowerment of our people and we shall do more as per the need-based,” states Wakili Ndumia.

He at the same time faulted leadership that has been there in Nakuru Town East Constituency for what he termed is failure to come up with legislation, policies and measures to help address challenges facing the people.

Wakili Ndumia stated that his leadership will be people-centred in finding pragmatic solutions to challenges facing constituents.

It should be noted that Wakili Ndumia has been meeting various groups in various wards in what he says is introductory visits.
