Verdict on case challenging CO nominees postponed

A verdict that was to be made on Thursday in a case challenging Governor Susan Kihika’s list of  21 nominees for the Chief Officers position in Nakuru has been postponed to Tuesday 29 November 2022.

The is after Justice David Nderitu of Employment and Labour court revealed that he had not gone through the 50-page ruling.

The Judge noted that he needed some days to do so.

The Thursday session also saw a debate on whether the petioners’ Law Firm had been duly registered with the Law Society of Kenya- an issue the Judge noted shall be determined on the same Tuesday.

The matter was raised by Governor Kihika’s legal team.
