In a statement, Dr. Kinity says that during the 2022 presidential campaigns, he  warned the Mt Kenya region against rushing into making political decisions among them supporting the Kenya Kwanza Regime, as he had foreseen predicaments that would face the region.

However, he noted that his advise went in vain as a section of religious leaders went on with the Gospel of supporting and campaigning for the regime.
According to Dr. Kinity who also doubles up as a Human Rights activist, the clergy misled the community as barely two years in office, the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is being impeached over grounds that cannot be substantiated.
“Some of the Mt. Kenya region christians led by their clergy campaigned for President William Ruto regime by preaching in churches that God had already anointed William Ruto to lead the nation. They misled their community,”  he stated.
The former Kenya Civil Servants Union Secretary General now wants the Christians from Mount Kenya region led by their clergy to stop misleading the community into making political decisions that will haunt them.
According to him, this is the only way the region can shape its political path.
“It is high time Christians from the Kikuyu community,  led by their clergy, desist from misleading the community once again,” he stated.
According to Dr.Kinity, the happenings around Kenya and the impeachment process against Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is an attempt to try destabilize the Mt Kenya region through politics of divide and rule.
The mission, he added that has been possible through ensuring no strong political party comes from Mt Kenya region citing the death of Jubilee Party that was becoming popular.
He expressed his fear that with MPs passing a motion to impeach Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, then other independent Institutions such as Judiciary might be targeted.
“It is therefore my worry that after Rigathi Gachagua is fully  removed, they might decide to go for Judiciary or any other independent Institutions,” he stated.
He pointed out that Kenya is a great nation with different communities in Kenya having always strived to live in harmony and in peace with each other,
most communities have intermarried with each other.
However, he noted that leaders from different communities have always dragged their communities into conflict with each other for political gains and for political mileage against the other.
Dr. Kinity challenged Kenyans to be vigilant and always strive to ensure good governance.
He at the same time called on International Community to also pay attention to the happenings in Kenya.
“This calls for the Kenya citizens to be watchful of the leaders out to misuse their communities for their personal gains. It has been unfortunate that all those leaders who mislead their communities have always  been corrupt,” he said.
