The goverment has announced the resumption of security operations in Baringo and Turkana counties following fresh banditry attacks. Riftvalley Regional Commissioner George Natembeya said this time round the operation will be ruthless to wipe out the bandits. Natembeya who addressed media at his office in Nakuru on Tuesday was categorical that the bandits have been organizing attacks in Baringo, Turkana and Laikipia counties. No more protests as Natembeya meets Matatu operators

There will be no more Matatu protests in Nakuru after Riftvalley Regional Commissioner George Natembeya stepped in to restore sanity in the sector. The operators have had  conflict with the county government of Nakuru after they were relocated from CBD in April.
