Arama optimistic of clinching Nyamira gubernatorial seat 2027

Nakuru Town West Member of Parliament Samuel Arama has expressed optimism in clinching Nyamira gubernatorial seat come 2027.

The MP says he has weighed seceral aspects and concuded that he will go for the seat with nothing more than emerging the winner.

Speaking in Kaptembwa Ward during a sports tournament, the lawmaker urged his constituents to allow him fulfil his ambition of serving Nyamira people.

According to Arama, he has already delivered as an MP in Nakuru West and it is time that he extends  that to his homeground in Nyamira.

He urged Nakuru West residents to remain peaceful and ensure his successor is a person who will deliver just as he has done in the three terms.

“I am going to vie for the Nyamira County gubernatorial seat in 2027, and I am confident that I will win easily. I am determined to extend my good work to the people of Nyamira,” he said.

Arama has been involved in various charity work back in Nyamira County.

Some of them include construction of houses for poor families as well as paying school fees for the needy.

Already his work has been felt on ground paving way for thr endorsement by elders in Nyamira.

 

Arama challenges leaders to help nurture talents

Nakuru Town West Member of Parliament Samuel Arama has challenged leaders to support initiatives aimed at nurturing talents.
The lawmaker says young talents in sports are key in shaping the society free of crime.
Speaking during Nakuru West National Government Constituency Development Football Tournament Final, Arama noted that Youth football development plays a crucial role in the growth and development of the sport itself.
He called for the need to have systems in place that can help develop players at young age helping them realize their potential.
Arama who was accompanied by  Businessman Robinas Makana and MCAs from Nakuru West Subcounty also used the opportunity to call on young people to shun criminal activities.
According to the lawmaker, young people have great potential which should not be wasted in criminal activities.
He called on residents to work closely with security team in enhamcing security in the sub county.
The tournament saw Githima Youth FC crowned champions after beating Shabab Boys FC 2-1 in extra time.
The teams were awarded money and Jersey.
Arama has been in the forefront in supporting youth Talents in Nakuru Town West.

MP Arama to establish a Foundation kitty towards education for poor children

Nakuru Town West Member of Parliament Samuel  Arama has hinted at establishing  an Education Foundation towards needy and vulnerable students.

In an interview, the lawmaker revealed that assisting the needy is at his heart.

It is for this reason that he feels it prudent to establish a Foundation kitty on education.

The Foundation he says will continue to assist the needy even when he retires from politics in future.

According to the lawmaker who is serving his third term as Nakuru Town West MP, many families are vulnerable and the only way to come out of poverty is by ensuring all children get quality education no matter their backgrounds.

“In my leadership I have realized many families are not capable of paying school fees rendering students vulnerable. I therefore have a plan to establish a Foundation kitty that will help in such cases even when I am out of politics,” he says.

Arama who has declared interest in the Nyamira gubernatorial seat come 2027 is among the few MPs who have won the trust of the people for being development oriented.

Arama: I’ve got a dream to transform Nyamira County come 2027

Nakuru Town West Member of Parliament Samuel Arama has hinted at blue print agenda he has towards transforming Nyamira County come 2027.
The MP who has declared interest in the Nyamira gubernatorial seat in 2027 says the county has lacked leadership.
This he says is the reason for the suffering the locals are going through under the current  regime.
Setting his agenda right, Arama notes his first agenda when elected Governor will be setting up kitty towards education for poor children in Nyamira County.
In an interview with press in Nakuru, the lawmaker said this will be made possible by setting aside 100 million shillings in every constituency  towards the same.
” I will never stop assisting the poor and that is why as a Governor I will ensure that all children are in school through the education kitty,” he said.
On the challenge of water that is facing residents of Nyamira, Arama says his agenda will be doing boreholes and ensure every household has piped water.
Health sector is also top on Arama’s agenda.
The development oriented lawmaker says he will work hard to ensure all health facilities in Nyamira County are operational.
This, he adds will be done well such that there will be no need of seeking services in other counties as Nyamira will be capable to take care of the needs of her patients.
In addition, more dispensaries will be set up at sub county levels and more professional  human resource personel employed.
With his experience and good rapo with the national government and how things work, Arama is confident over the same.
Infrastructure improvement is number 3 agenda on his transformation agenda for Nyamira County come 2027.
Having worked closely with national government and other development partners, the MP believes in infrastructure is key towards all development sectors.
As a county chief, he says more focus will be on feeder roads within the county.
He says he will partner with other leaders such as MPs to actualize tarmacking of major roads which fall under county government.
This will ease movement of goods and farm produce to the markets or distribution centres.
Trade is another area that Arama will be focusing at.
“Construction of markets to aid trading activities in the county is key and will in return help us get some revenue,” he says.
Arama adds that proper sheds for mama mboga whom he says are currently suffering with harsh weather conditions yet they pay tax to the current county government will be actualized as well as establishment of  bus parks and other amenities to aid traders.
To boost bodaboda operations and small businesses such as mama mboga businesses, if elected governor, Arama says his government will charge zero levy on such.
He says he will seek a grants from National government to implement various projects in Nyamira county.
Arama who is serving his third term as MP for Nakuru Town West,  has also already laid down his plans once he is out of politics.
He says he has a dream of having an education Foundation kitty where he will continue to assist the poor children to acquire education.
“Assisting people is what I love and that is why in future I am thinking of starting education Foundation kitty where I can continue assisting even after politics,” says Arama.
The MP who in 2022 August polls was elected on Jubilee ticket under Azimio Coalition, has on many occassions come out clear that he supports the current Kenya Kwanza administration under the leadership of President William Ruto.

Arama’s message as Muslims mark end of Ramadhan

Nakuru Town West Member of Parliament Samuel Arama has wished all Muslim brothers and sisters Eid-Ul-Fitr.

Muslims celebrate Eid-Ul-Fitr to signify the end of the Holy Month of Ramadhan.

In his message, Arama stated that religion plays key role in shaping the political scene.

While wishing all Muslims we the blessings of Allah, the lawmaker reiterated the need for everyone in society to embrace service to humanity.

“We all have to commit to serving humanity through values such as  generosity, kindness, humility and love for one another” he stated.

The third term serving lawmaker was categorical that with such values in community, there will be prosperity in the society with no one left behind.

He once again called for political tolerance in every corner of the country.

 

MP calls for good working relationship between locals and administrators in realizing government agenda

Nakuru Town West Member of Parliament Samuel Arama has called on local administrators to work closely with residents towards realization of national government agenda.

Arama notes that government agenda and promises cannot be achieved if there is no proper collaboration.

“We urge the provincial administration to work closer with Wanainchi to ensure the government agenda is achieved” he said.

The vocal lawmaker is now serving his third term.

Under his leadership, he has worked hard towards fulfilling several transforming projects for his constituents.

On security, he has ensured improved services by improving standards of police stations such as Kaptembwa police station as well as Chief’s camp.

Nakuru MP who has perfected the art of working with government of the day

A Nakuru Lawmaker has perfected the art of working with government of the day.

Nakuru Town West Member of Parliament Samuel Arama was in 2013 elected on ODM ticket.

After his election, he vowed to work with the then President Uhuru Kenyatta of TNA.

At that time, Arama maintained that respect for government of the day and close relationship was key towards service delivery to electorates.

Though many criticized him of betraying ODM, he stood by his principles and in 2017 he successfully contested Nakuru West parliamentary seat on Jubilee Party.

He continued to work closely with President Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration.

Come 2022 general elections, the vocal and principled lawmaker who believes in speaking out his mind, maintained stand.

After format of the Azimio Coalition party, Arama contested Nakuru West parliamentary seat on Jubilee Party ticket within Azimio Coalition.

Him and his Bahati counterpart Irene Njoki are the only lawmakers among the 11 MPs in Nakuru who won on Jubilee as all the other 9 won UDA ticket.

After the Supreme court battle on Presidential elections, the court threw away petion that had been filed by Azimio leader Raila Odinga paving way for the swearing in of William Ruto as the President.

It is again here that Arama stood firm that he will support Kenya Kwanza Government.

His recent visit to Statehouse elicited mixed reactions among Azimio supporters.

However the pro-development Arama said as elected leader he does not need any okay from individuals for him to visit Statehouse.

According to him, leadership is all about transforming the lives of the electorates and thus the reason he is working with government of the day.

“As elected leader I need to work with other leaders including President William Ruto to deliver because the people elected us for that” he stated.

The MP has recently been on record condemning the ongoing opposition-led protests over high cost of living.

He said there are better structured way of handling grievances thang protests.

 

 

MP Arama hints at going for gubernatorial seat

Nakuru Town West Member of Parliament Samuel Arama has hinted at contesting for governorship.

Though not clear whether he will contest in Nakuru or his homecounty Nyamira.

Speaking on Monday when he issued the final tranche of bursary for Form one students, he reveals that he is weighing between the two counties.

However, the lawmaker pointed out gaps in the current leadership of Nyamira county.

While noting that he has backing in Nyamira, he said if given chance by residents he would put things right.

“If the people of my homecounty Nyamira tell me to go serve them as their governor, I will have no option but to go” he said.

Arama who is serving third term as MP Nakuru West prides in his development agenda.

He has always maintained that leadership is all about service to the people.

Arama to issue second tranche of NG-CDF bursary

Other several students in Day Secondary schools have also benefited under the kitty.

Arama has been vocal on matters education in his constituency.

“With high levels of poverty in the area, education was the only way to save the situation” he says.

He is the only Legislator who has ensured education for all.
