Nakuru Town West Member of Parliament Samuel Arama has assured that he will contest the Nyamira gubernatorial seat come 2027.
In an interview with one of Nakuru-based media house, Arama says he has delivered as an MP Nakuru West and nothing will hinder his ambition to go for gubernatorial seat in his home county of Nyamira.
The lawmaker said on many occassions, the people of Nyamira have admired his development-oriented type of leadership.
He argues that county governments with revenue collections plus the allocation from National kitty have no reason but to deliver to the people.
With a good track record he has in Nakuru West, Arama is optimistic that come 2027 he will clinch the Nyamira seat.
He has however urged Nakuru Town West residents to continue supporting his leadership for the remaining part of his third term as an MP.
“I have done the best I can for Nakuru West constituents and come 2027 I will be moving to Nyamira to contest gubernatorial seat” said Arama.
Arama says the best leaders can do is to better the lives of the electorates and ensure they feel the worth of the tax payer’s money.
Besides serving Nakuru West residents, the MP has also gone an extra mile in helping the vulnerable and most needy students from his pocket.
He has also been paying school fees for children from poor backgrounds and settling medical bills for poor families back in Nyamira which is his home area.
