Nakuru county residents have been challenged to fully be part of the county budget process. Speaking during a zoom meeting on the essence of public participation in matters budget,Francis Shinali from Nakuru Residents Association said citizens’ participation is key. Nakuru county mourns Hells Gate MCA

Hells Gate MCA John Njuguna is no more. The Nakuru county assembly member succumbed on Monday at a Nakuru health facility where he was admitted. The news of his death was received with shock by Nakuru residents on social media. The County assembly of Nakuru has adopted a report of the assembly rules and delegated legislation Comittee on the amendments of the county assembly of Nakuru standing orders.
