Locals and the business community has welcomed the re-scheduled Nakuru BBI rally saying that County Rallies have been in the past used to propagate hatred and division in the country taking the Narok rally as a sample with locals saying that the move by the government to conduct a regional rally that will consolidate views of all counties will bring to and a platform to propagate hatred
Nakuru rally was re-scheduled yesterday after a meeting between political leaders at State house in Nairobi where Nakuru County Governor Lee Kinyanjui has said that the change will ensure opinions of a whole region are heard and included in a consolidated report that will be tabled during the rally on 21st this month in Nakuru
However locals have warned politicians popular on creating sideshows during the BBI sensitization rally saying that they must be let to air their suggestions and opinions during the rally instead of too much politicking
Moreover Governor Kinyanjui has said that Nakuru BBI rally will be different from others saying that previously locals have been having hard time to air their views where politicians have been stealing the show but promising that Nakuru will be different
