Nakuru is set to host the largest end of year party on the 31st of December 2016. The Groove Party 2016 will be held at Nakuru Athletics Club (NAC) from 7 PM till dawn and entry will be an unscratched Kshs. 100 Safaricom airtime.
Groove Party is an annual year end event that attracts mostly young people between the ages of 16-24 but still appropriate for older audiences. The Nakuru Groove Party 2016 is expected to attract over 7,000 young people in addition to secondary audiences via live TV broadcast. The event will be broadcast live on K24 TV.
To audience will be treated to a positive and wholesome entertainment experience that Groove Party creates, featuring the favourite gospel musicians and deejays in a drug free and safe environment.
Some of the musicians expected at the Groove Party 2016 in Nakuru include Ben Githae, Bahati, Loise Kim, Eunice Njeri, Kelele Takatifu, Mash Mwana, Gudah Man and Shiru wa GP.
Other gospel musicians that will grace the Groove Party 2016 in Nakuru (#GPNaks) include Mercy Masika, Timothy Kitui, Kris Eeh Baba and Jimmy Gait. Top ranking Kenyan DJs, DJ Ruff and DJ MO will be at the turn tables. MC Neb will also be in attendance.
Nakuru based artists will also have a chance to perform. Artists like Mercy Onjure, Faith Nduhiu, The Cubanotics, Zae Dekim & Timam and MC Emos will be representing Nakuru.
Friendly Groove Party Venue
To guide those attending, Groove Party 2016 marshals will be at hand. The branded concert marshals will be positioned at easily accessible points to assist, guide or address any concerns that attendees may have.
As usual with all Groove Party events, bathroom amenities will be provided to serve the audience and to ensure their comfort. There will be sufficient clean portable toilets with proper flushes at the venue which will also be equipped with hand washing facilities.
