Nakuru ASK show to commence on June 29 under strict COVID-19 measures

This year’s Nakuru National Agricultural show that commences on June 29 will be held under strict COVID-19 protocols.

Thisfollows the resumption of Agricultural Society of Kenya Activities since 2019 when COVID-19 pandemic struck.

Nakuru ASK Chairman Dr.Perminus Migwi says all measures have been put in place as far as COVID-19 measures are concerned.

Addressing during a media briefing, he pointed out that upon entrance, members of the public will have to put on masks as well as wash hands.

“We have hand washing points and we have also ensured that everyone will be masked before being allowed in” he said.

In addition, Dr.Migwi assured members of the public and exhibitors of maximum security during the 5-day event.

This year’s show has seen 22 new exhibitors join the list with upto 200 exhibitors expected to participate.
