Police in Nakuru are holding a 38 year old woman for allegedly assaulting her house help.
Susan Wangeci from Muguga sub location in Pipeline area Nakuru Town East was arrested yesterday evening and spent her night at the police cells in Mwariki police station waiting to be arraigned in court today after she was found assaulting her 16 years old house help who has stayed in her house for the last one year
Confirming the incident Nakuru East Sub County Police Commander Hellena Kabukuru has said that they received a tip off from members of the general public who noticed the minor had a broken hand and a swollen wound on her forehead before confirming that she has been receiving thorough beating from her rogue employer
The mother of three is today set to be arraigned in Court after investigations whereas the 16years was taken for medical examinations at Nakuru Level five by the police and later be given a P3
Kabukuru has said that Wangeci will be charged with assault and employing an under aged child who is supposed to be in school
However efforts to reach out to the family of the victim have also commenced
