Fifteen killings by unknown assailants in the past five months in Nyandarua and Laikipia counties.
The murders according to locals follow a similar pattern happening past midnight and are executed by assailants who rarely steal anything.
In most cases the victims are hacked to death with the murderous gang usually digging holes to access the houses where their victims are sleeping.
